Born in 1962 in Lisbon and raised in Cascais, I have navigated through life's twists and turns with resilience and determination. Opting to enter the workforce after completing high school, I found my niche in the dynamic world of fashion, where I honed my skills and gained valuable experience over the years. Amidst the hustle and bustle of career life, I was blessed with four wonderful children, who became my guiding light and source of strength.

 

In 2020, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic presented me with unforeseen challenges. Prior to this, I had endured the devastating loss of both my husband and my son's father within a short span of time. Struggling to find my footing in the face of such profound loss, I found solace and purpose in my passion for painting, a beloved hobby from my youth.

 

September 2020 marked a turning point as I embarked on a journey back to my artistic roots. Determined to channel my emotions and experiences onto canvas, I set a bold goal for myself: to showcase my artwork in an exhibition within a year.

 

Viewing myself as a self-taught emerging artist, I have immersed myself in a whirlwind of learning and self-discovery. From online workshops to countless hours of reading and tutorial watching, I have embraced every opportunity to expand my artistic horizons.

As I continue to immerse myself in the boundless beauty of nature, I am committed to staying true to my artistic expression and sharing the wonders of our natural world with others.
